Having bought a few Photography Mags this month, I suddenly realise I read a Mag in the same way I manage my workload at work (when I work )
Basically I flick through the whole Mag quickly to get an overview of what's in there (1 minute say) . If there is anything burning I want to read I go straight to it. Otherwise I flick through pages again only reading the exciting stuff. Once complete I then go back & read the other stuff.
Basically do the same at work. Skim over the workload for the day to check if anything is ultra urgent. Do that 1st'ish . Then choose items that I know I will enjoy (as much as is possible) most & do them, then follow up with grudge (if at all)
I dare not examine if I follow the same ethics for everything else in my life
Do others have the same condition ?
NB: I don't want to hear how anybody reads a top shelf mag btw
