Time for a lay down somewhere clean. by jcross70, on Flickr

Tricky to get the photography right today, quite dull and Phoebe's moving quickly. 1/500 sec was too slow so I upped it to 1/2500 but then need to up the aperture and ISO. With hindsight I'd have dropped the ISO a bit along with the exposure.

You did well with the exposure here in my view - nice detail in Phoebe's dark coat, and brighter areas not blown out. Did you post process much? Great pics as well - a dog with ambition :)

:D My two anti theft devices!..:naughty:

Be careful that nobody tries to steal the anti-theft devices themselves. They don't look at all vicious to me - bet they are proper softies... ?

Lovely pics - the black and white one is terrific in photographic terms also! Have you used a very wide aperture in #2... its just the way you seem to have controlled the dof. Its a bit like a 'toy-town' pic in one sense.....

Thank you :D (y)
uh, it was only F/2.8, wide enough.

it was the 70-200 on my 5DII
180mm
