Totally unrelated to photography, but I'm not a member of a computer forum, so I don't know where else to turn for help.

A friend of mine (an old cliche I know but true) has a broadband connection, but it's very slow. He wants to download Firefox onto his machine, but every time he tries it, it 'times out' due to his slow connection.

He has asked me if I can download it for him and drop it onto a CD so he can load it onto his machine that way.

I know it's a doddle for me to download it onto my machine, go to the appropriate page, click on the download button, follow instructions, and hey presto, it's done.

But what he has asked me to do is stretching my ability and knowledge, indeed is it even possible to do it that way?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Pete

PS For future reference, can anybody suggest a good computer forum?

Right click this link. and save it to your desktop, then simplay drag and drop it onto the icon for your cd drive in my computer.

Then click 'write these files to CD' and hey presto you are done!

PS- the link above is for english version for windows.

Its not hard Pete, just download but dont press the RUN button, instead save it and then drag the whole folder into your burning software and hey presto
