Took thhis a few weeks ago.

Its the staircase leading from the top of Miltary Hill down to Snargate Street
in Dover.

A little USM has been applied but other than that, its straight from the cam.

This one doesn't really work for me I'm afraid. Unfortunately the angle that it's been taken from loses the spiral and so it looks just like 6 upright indents. The opening is blown and gives you nothing of interest once you get there. Perhaps if the opening was more at an angle and on the thirds it would retain the spiral effect.

Hope that makes sense.

I would say though that the light bouncing off the walls looks quite interesting, but I would agree that it needs an extra something still.

It's interesting, but not working for me. Not sure how to imrpove either, maybe try and get the sun overhead and see if it makes for an interesting display of light?

Gary.

Not sure how much it would improve it but I think you needed to rotate on the spot a bit. There could be some accurate symmetry there with rows of openings aligned to the corner of the frame etc instead of a random angle.
