Ducklings

I saw my first ducklings of the year today - just Mallard Ducks (also saw a male Mallard on the nest - didn't know they did that) - yet others where still sitting on eggs, normally here in Lancashire everything is usually a bit later arriving.. So has anyone else seen any?

Unfortunately Mallards are one of the most predated, bit sad when you see them getting picked off each day until just one or two stick with the adults.
They will go a second brood and the mild weather seems to be setting many birds off early
