:thinking:Hi all,

I want to create a reasonable quality DVD slide show for use on my TV from a couple of hundred digital photo's plus background soundtrack ripped from CD's. I can do this via Nero 6 which I have but the photo quality is very poor and in now way matches the originals. They are noisey with blown highlights and disappearing shadows. I've also tried Windows DVD maker which does the job but again the quality is poor and there's very limited, or no editing facilities. Even though I put the sequences together in E6 it's nice to be able to rearrange the order and orientation at the end. Any suggestions on possible alternatives :thinkingvery welcome.

remember DVD only displays at resolutions of 720/704×576 (depending on 4:3 or 16:9) so some quality loss will be present.

also worth a thought, if youre going to be using this DVD commercially youll need a licence for the ripped audio.
 
Thanks for the suggestions guy's. the DVD's are only for me and those locked in with me - my holiday shots you know!!!!
