DVD Photo Slide show Software

Hi all,
One of my friends has asked me to burn some photos that I took of her onto a DVD so she can play it to her family.
I used to use Nero 7 but since upgrading to Vista, it doesn't work any more.

Does anyone know of a decent free bit of software before I pay to upgrade?

I have tried Windows DVD maker but as far as I can see, you can't burn multiple slide shows onto 1 disk :shrug:

Hi robrevens,
I had spotted VSO on my googles and it looks like a good bot of kit.
I just keep thinking that if I am going to pay, I will probably go Nero as it's not much more expensive and I already know how to use it :shrug:

I will go check them out.
In my experience you build the slid show in the burning software by adding the photos you want and menu options etc...

iLife09 on the Mac (comes free with new Mac purchases now) does this pretty well.

Proshow Gold 4 works very well. I don`t run Vista, but afaik it works on it.
