hi I am looking at getting a hdd dvd recorder with built in freeview anyone got any recommendations??

i like my Sony DVDR970, the epg is a bit lacking but it records fine and upscales my DVD's to 1080P too and with a one for all 6 remote you can region free it

I've had a dvd recorder for a few years and can't remember the last time I recorded anything. If I miss it today it'll be repeated tomorrow.

just get sky+ instead or a tivo with a lifetime subscription from ebay

Have dvd recorder and barly use it and then dont get to watch it if i did, best bet would be a hard drive recording unit a good few have dvd recorder built in then if you feel you want to keep program it records to dvd for you.

well I have just bought this Wharfedale DVDRW400F DVD Recorder with Freeview . brand new of fleabay £53 delivered
so now I can tidy up the cabinet as there is a dvd ,video and freeview box sat under the telly
