this bald eagle flew by at the park this morning, on its way to roost in a large fir tree. it was low enough that i was able to get a decent angle and get some nice shots... 40D, 100-400 @ 400mm, 1/1600 @ f/11...

Yep I agree there are plenty of captives to be seen
But Its nice to see a truly wild one no ring no Jesses

WONDERFUL. I wish that I had one of those in my garden. It would sure as hell cure the cat problem.
