I'm new on here, but not to photography. I've just returned to the UK from a year's travelling where I decided to have go at making photography my career, more on that later...
I really enjoy travel and documentary photography with a bit of macro chucked in for good measure. I love learning new techniques and skills - for me photography is a never ending learning process. At the moment I'm spending time playing around with my luxury home macro studio (a cardboard box and tracing paper creation).
Kit wise I'm all digital now, I used to shoot with an OM20 and T-max pushed to 1600 - l loved the high contrast results that got me. These days I use a Nikon D70 which will hopefully soon be upgraded to a D200. Next purchase will be the tamron 17-50 f2.8 or the newly released tokina 16-50 if the price and quality looks good.
I'm looking forward to getting involved on these forums.
