EBAY - Scammer ?

Third or fourth identical auction I have seen now - its definitely a scam :mad:
 
got to watch them german ebay memebrs, try and flog any old tat on ebay they will..

whats with the nikkor lens then, says a canon L series, clearly not though!
 
It's a scam mate, it's happening a lot at the moment. Basically it's a hijacked account with the contact me directly bit at the bottom so that the real account owner doesn't get wise.
 
There were at least 30 scam auctions on the go last night if you just search for "Canon EOS". Unbelievably annoying when you are looking to buy.

Ebay is RAPIDLY becoming a joke. (Well, that happened a while ago now but it is getting a LOT worse)
 
I was pricing up EOS 350D's on eBay last week. There a hundreds - all cheap, all being sold by accounts made of random letters, all very suspicious.

eBay don't seem to give a crap, though.

I once complained to eBay after looking for a book about 3D Studio Max on there, and coming across a seller who was offering 3D Studio Max, Lightwave, and Maya on one CD for £50.

eBay replied, saying there was no evidence that the seller was doing anything illegal.

Hint 1 - Max, Lightwave and Maya are made by 3 different companies.
Hint 2 - They've never been bundled together on any CD.
Hint 3 - Their retail value is about £8,000.
