Eeek more advice please re: RAW

[Rosiebud]

Sorry but some more advice needed please

At present I am shooting in Jpeg and viewing the results in Adobe Bridge CS5 in Camera Raw mode - I'm very inexperienced lol

Does PS5 open RAW files basically?

I understand that it's best to shoot in RAW and my memory cards are large enough to handle them

Thanks again

Yes. It will open them using something called Adobe Camera Raw which is a popup window with lots of familiar sliders on it to let you do adjustements on the files before it loads into PS.
