Yes
I see a number of EF lenses are now no longer in production.
This includes the legendary 200mm f2.

I guess that the death knell is tolling for the canon EF range.

A large majority of EF lenses are no longer in production. Canon have been designing and making EF lenses for well over thirty years and most of those designs are now obsolete. .

As long as mine keep working, though the worry is ten years down the line there won’t be any parts for them but that’s the price for holding on! I am satisfied with the image quality of my EF so I am in no hurry to update.

I think due to the pandemic, Canon will be pushing RF at the expense of the EF mount, there’s more money to be made in a new system. The majority of photographers are not going to get a huge benefit from switching to the RF mount so they need a little shove to do so!

depends on what one considers a "huge benefit".
EVF alone is a huge enough benefit for me to switch.
