Im looking to change .co.uk domain to a new provider
I dont need web space as i want to redirect website to another hosting company.
The hosting company is in USA so cant host the .co.uk.

any recommendation
need web mail access plus from i phone and normal pop through Outlook.

just need recommendation for reliable host.
 
Who told you a USA host can not host a .co.uk?

USA hosts most certainly can, and do, host .co.uk domains as well as many other different domain extensions.

I have a number of .co.uk domains hosted with a USA hosting company myself
 
I've been for years with Orchardhosting.com and happy with the service and the prices.
 
For the domain I use domain monster, for the website hosting I use TSOhost and for the email hosting I use Google Apps (free).

the hosting company i want to go with does not host .co.uk domains.

looking around i guess i just need a domain registrar and they usually have email services?
 
It doesn't make sense for all US hosting companies to be registered with Nominet I guess. There's another school of thought that it is best to keep your hosting and domain registry separate, that way it is easy to move host.

i think im getting a little confused :(

I think what they are saying is they cant register the domain name rather then host it.

i want to completely move away from my exisiting supplier who is currently the registrar is well as host.

does that make better sense?

Makes sense. Transfer your existing domain to a UK based registrar and once there you can point it to hosting anywhere you choose. Most registrars will be able to help you if asked.
