EOSinfo How Acurate?

Just wondering how acurate EOSinfo is?

Just received my 40D a short while ago which was quoted as having just 328 actuations, EOSinfo confirms this figure, can I trust this figure and would there be any other methods of confirming?

I wouldn't be so suspicious except it's such a low shutter count!

I used the older version of this on the same camera and got 3 different readings on 3 diff PC's.

Haven't used the newer version.
