Ahh that's better...
There is no OCD going on here, not least with Black camera grips and a Brown case there isn't.
OK, just to put this back on track![]()
Back on track? You may want to check the title of your post.
Maybe try "I am shallow and overly concerned with minor irrelevant details about how my camera looks, how about you?"
Clearly I am playing my aspergers card here with a direct and blunt response that shows no empathy![]()
It's only brighter from the light table it's sat on, the lens cap modification is still dark.
I would recommend you adjust the brightness level on your monitor, or better still, calibrate it.
If you look at the histogram for both brighter versions, you'll see they are skewed either towards all highlights or predominantly shadow.
Here's a quick tweak in Aperture.

Sounds more like you're hung over and miserable.
My only problem is that when i put my lens caps on the lens after use they MUST be the correct way up and perfectly straight. haha
That's my favorite bit of it.Clearly I am playing my aspergers card here with a direct and blunt response that shows no empathy![]()
Nope, just messing around.
Seriously though, the title of the thread is not good and what you have has nothing to do with autism.
Hmm.. I'm on a 27" Cinema Screen which is calibrated. I do tend to keep the brightness up full most of the time, though.
my eyes!
Bright, yes?
Who am i,I am always forgeting to put on lens caps, and keep loseing them![]()
That lens cap looks really tacky in my opion, I'd try and loose it
ps. my score is 7

Pity, you would be first in the queue if they did.![]()
I think it is the little case to keep your spare films in that completes the look![]()
Yes but in the seller's queue waiting for you two to turn up cash in hand.![]()
I don't get the title of this thread...
It was ignorant, but rather than take offence I tried to help use it as a chance for people to learn some facts about autism.
I think that was rather unfair given the disclaimer in the first post and in linked to article but hey, ho.
The fact you felt you needed a disclaimer shows you didn't think it was appropriate. Who you're wife works with isn't all that relevant and if anything should have made you not put it.
But like I said, I don't take offence, people hear autism and see rainman. The reality is more people have austism that you think, most are undiagnosed and struggle with things that many find simple. I am one of those people, I have autism, I struggle with things everyday and it has taken me a life time to learn to cope with it.

Also, personal bug-bear...
OCD - Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
You only have it if it causes you any distress/anxiety. Liking things lined up is not OCD. Having panic attacks when they're not is.
If you just like things neat, that's just being neat.
It's almost the equivalent of saying "I'm a little bit Alzheimers-y" when what you mean is "I'm a bit forgetful sometimes"
I didn't take offence - just saying that the change from autism to OCD wasn't much of an improvement![]()
