Yes
I've noticed that the last pics I posted are not displaying EXIF. Now this happened before but It turned out that it was a setting in Lightroom export that was stopping the EXIF being exported.

This time the EXIF is definitely being exported as it is being displayed in Flickr. I've tried looking with 2 EXIF readers and both are not showing any EXIF when posted here. Example below, click the image to see it in Flickr with the EXIF data displayed:

How did you create the jpeg files? If you use PS and use export for web it removes the EXIF data.

I'm getting EXIF data here using a Safari plugin. :)

As I said Darren, the EXIF is there in Flickr (Click on the image to check). I don't use save for web, just image size and save as jpeg.

Missed that, it must be an option on flickr as the EXIF has definitely been reduced to a minimum.

I dragged the image to my desktop and viewed with preview then went to the info window. This is what I normally use and it is showing a cut down amount of EXIF. Very strange.

Safari is reading the embedded XMP data, rather than the Exif, which is still attached to the image.

Flickr strips out the Exif, IPTC and 'Maker' data on creation for all 'non original' sizes.

The Exif should be intact and viewable in the original size however, but only if you've enabled that for viewing, which is how you can see it alongside the photograph when viewing full Exif data.

I don't see it here either using firefox and Fxif. It's only with flickr images which is a real pain.

I have rollover mouse enabled but only get your Flikr account stuff doing that, it doesn't show any EXIF on rollover.

Well, I can get all the EXIF here using KUSO and IE8, so it is being exported.

Standard Information
Make: SONY
Model: DSLR-A700
ImageSize: 640x419
CreateDate: 2010:09:05 15:41:40+01:00
ModifyDate: 2010:09:05
etc

Yup, that's the XMP data that you're reading, not the Exif.

Yes you are right enough, however it still gives me all the relevant data I look for when I check out photos on here eg. f, aperture, shutter speed, ISO and focal length.
