Hi chaps

A recent update to firefox has killed the old plug in for viewing exif data via a right click.

What works with firefox 3.0.3?
 
Blimey, I was just checking ExifViewer on my machine and an answer appeared before I could put pen to paper (as it were). Yes, Version 1.45 works okay with Firefox 3.0.3 here.

Which viewer are you guys using?

FxIF doesn't update to a suitable level.
 
EXIF Viewer 1.45 for me. Seems to work fine with FF 3.0.3 on a Mac.
 
I'm using version 0.2.3 with FF 3.0.3 and everything works fine.

Hey DF - I think they all - more or less - do the same thing. I guess some have more bells and whistles than others, I haven't really investigated to determine what the difference in them is. I've always found the one I (and you now) use has suited what I need.

If you find a problem with ANY Add-on after updating Firefox, you should look at getting the Nightly Tester Tools add-on. I use it all the time, really handy to have.
 
Ere, I had this trouble too.
Before, with my old exif viewer it was right-click > properties in browser, and a decent but basic exif list was displayed, something similar to the advanced summary in explorer.
Now since it wasn't compatible with old FFox, this new exif plug-in I get a list as long as you're arm, with piles of random rubbish I'm constantly sifting through to find the basic stuff I'm interested in.
Anybody still got the basic one, this one is complete bab.
