OK, first to casess: I'm fighting a nast conditionn which is restricting me to home until I get the all-clear. Hence I have little to play with other than the back garden (which is happily going to seed as I cannot tend it at the moment.

Whatever, I have tried to make something of it - something that I can use to advanntage when I becaome more mobile again and can find better subjects.

So, what I am trying to do is to do something a little impressionist. Try to change things such as leaves into dabs of light. Make it look less like a photo. *

My set up is simple: A garden, a Fujifilm XT-5 with a Takumar "nifty fifty".

I've looked at various fifferent approaches but noe seemed satisfactory to me. Using ICM (intentional movement in the camer leads to streaks of bright lights, and also what looks just like motion blur. Zooms in nd out look like a cheap time travel pastiche.

So my technique was this: multiple exposures (in my case 9), A gap in the foliage where my dog goes to lay eggs, and a light breeze. Rather than use long exposure times, I went for sharp images of the scene, frozen in successive shots as it moved around.

I'm sort of gettng there, but any commennts wold be appreciated.

* I'm aware also that the final technique may lead only to pctures which are somewhat naff, but it's really only the technical part of the exercise that keeps me going.
