Extension tubes for the 100mm

Is there a decent set of extension tubes that will fit the 100mm that will still AF but wont compromise the image Quality thanks

how about a set of kenko tubes? These work well on the lens and there are three different sizes, so you can mix and match. They do decrease light though, you will need flash to achieve the best results. If you have a look at my last few sets of dragonfly and hoverfly pics they were all taken with the 100mm and 20mm of extension tubes.

One is 12mm long and one is 25. You can also use both together to get 37mm. Depends how close you want to get, which tube you use.

I got rid of my Kenkos as they didn't feel mechanically strong enough to hang a 1-series body off a 500mm lens but they do the job otherwise.

yeah i must admit i wouldnt trust them with that sort of weight! but a 100mm should be fine.

Use a set of kenkos on my 100mm canon and they work well.
