Hey all, I've unearthed an old Sigma EF-430 external flash..in the manual it said it worked with all Canon EOS cameras, so I plonked it onto my 40D and tried to configure settings and it said "incompatible flash".
I'm assuming now that the flash is actually for film cameras and not DSLRs..can anyone enlighten me and am I really going to have spend on a Speedlite in the end!?
Cheers all.
