Just wonering if there is a specific way to set the viewfinder to your eyesight? Is it just a case of let the camera auto focus and then set it until it looks clear?
 
A lot of cameras allow you to calibrate this to your eyesight using a viewfinder diopter adjustment. What make/model of camera do you have?

You don't have to rely on the cameras focussed image, you can just look at the icons and settings at the bottom of the screen
