Beginner Family Wedding

I was not the photographer, he was a friend of the groom and had no second and had his hands full all day.
I took photos because I don't have a lot of our family and in the end it was a good thing as the photographer didn't have a lot of time for candid shots until the evening when the reception started.
I'm not looking for critique, as I have no intention of pursuing wedding photography as it looks like way too much effort!!! I won't get upset if anyone chooses to give notes.

Looking at your pics, my first thought was "I wish I'd been invited." So you can tick that off as a success.

That's good, means they work as good memories for the couple when they get them.
I'm going to get a photo book made up for them as a wedding present.

Thank you man. Glad the camera copes well with high ISO, because I made a point of not having the flash so I didn't draw attention.

I'm afraid I don't feel the same as other commenters, to me they feel more 'voyeuristic' than candid.

More like you observed a wedding than you were part of it. Only the last one has any feel of engagement.

Fair point. Probably another good reason for me not to do wedding photography
