Hey all,

So once again I have been out shooting and practicing! These are just a few to try show different techniques/styles... once again constructive criticism welcome!

They are screenshots off of my phone, as images are large and off my dropbox for the time being.

just had cance to look,
pic 1. try a letterbox crop taking out most the sky, and leaving most the water , TBH theres not enough interest in the sky , but its all you had to work with
pic 3. very nice image
pic 5. the bird is a bit close to the right of the frame , if you have more to work with bring the bird more to the left of the frame, to give bird somewhere to look.

theses are personal opinions , its your thoughts that matter , also I wasn't there when the images where taken,, so I cant know what else was around the shot

Unless it is a deliberate close-up you need all of your subject in the frame. In both your bird shots you have cut the feet and tail off. As a general rule, if the subject is looking or moving to the left and vice versa, you need more space in the shot to the left, or right as the case may be.
Agree that a letterbox crop would help number 1. Nice light though.
Number 2 - not much going on.
number4- interesting shot.
