Apart from your grads uv and polarising filters what other filters would you recommend to have and what would you use them for
Reason I ask my daughter and son in law have decided to buy me a Cokin set for Xmas it comes with adapter rings and filters as above and with so many filters available for it I would like to get a few more so what would you recommend .

Non-grad ND - for those all-too-common occasions that we get in the UK when there's just too much ambient light ;) - and also for when you want a longer exposure or a wider aperture (or both) than the ambient light otherwise dictates. But I wouldn't have a UV (can appreciate the argument for circular screw-on ones but certainly not square ones).

Don't forget that you need a circular polariser filter, and not a linear polariser, as these are still available in the square Cokin format.

A filter I've been curious over for a few years but never used is the Varicolour Polarisers. As I understand, they add colour to polarised areas, but not the rest. Or something.

Singh Ray do a coloured polariser, always fancied a go but in the UK they're very rare.
