After a long while of saving I have finally got a 5d mkII! Luckily I could get a 7d battery in it and start shooting straight away. Although I love my 7d I can see this being first camera of choice for a lot of occasions. Already I notice lack of autofocus at times, nothing which should hinder me as I shoot people. Also I think I will miss full auto ISO on manual mode, that is amazing on the 7d.
The weird thing is I'm using it like the 7d but the functionality of the 5d mkII is sometimes limited. Still I reckon its going to be used a hell of a lot more than this post makes out.
When they do eventually do a mkIII version it will be immense.
