Finding it so difficult to edit...

Yes
I got rid of my desktop PC around September time and bought myself a really nice netbook, seemed like such a good idea at the time, but I've just started taking photos and editing again after a few months off due to work commitments and I'm getting really frustrated with the Netbook.
I've got both CS4 and Lightroom on it, both work absolutely fine (no issues with speed or anything) just screen size! It's doing my head in.

Anybody else have the same problem?
I'm thinking I might just have to give up and get an iMac or new windows desktop...

:help:

Yep, I had that problem with Photoshop Elements. In the end I bit the bullet and have just bought a new pc.

Why not just buy a monitor that you can use when editing?
I've seen brand new 19" monitors for about £90.

That's exactly what I don't want to do, feeling I might have to though.
There's just not enough space on the screen to work properly, it gives me headache.

I've just been thinking about getting a monitor, I might give it a try, just space is a bit tight (hence why I bought the netbook)

I've got a little netbook that i find very difficult to use, i've never even attempted to use it for photo editing.

I use a MacBook Pro for all my work which is fine pretty much all of the time, but i do have a 22" screen and external keyboard in my office to hook it up too. The only problem is my desk is piled up with crap and can't get to it. Could well be a job for the weekend!

You get the best of both worlds really, you can sit watching TV or something with the laptop, or do your serious work in front of the bigger screen.

I just wish I'd thought about my editing before I thought about buying this netbook.

Yeah, I guess you're right, I'll just have to make some space for a new screen, keyboard and mouse... :D
