Being new to photography I thought I would ask this question (whether relevant or not) Are there any required White Balance settings when taking photos of fireworks or is it best to leave it on Auto?

Thanks

If You Dont Ask You Dont Learn

Auto. I shoot RAW so I can fix it later if need be, but 9/10 times auto works.

I found it made little difference recently and left the camera on 'daylight'. Not sure if other more experienced people would disagree though.

Two examples for you...

WB: Daylight (about 5000K I think?)

WB: 2000K

Although I usually shoot in RAW, I don't think that it matters what the white balance is for fireworks.

There are no skin tones, foliage or other subjects which would benefit or be degraded by an improper white balance....

i have a 450D 15-55mm lens and a 55-25mm lens

what settings would you use to take pics of fireworks

shutter speed?, iso? ect

total noob

hope you can help me, thanks
