FIREWORKS...How best to shoot them?

[smartplumber]

With bonfire night only round the corner and various firework displays on offer has anyone got any good tips for shooting fireworks?

Any help appreciated, going to a display on Friday, Saturday and Sunday so hopefully images may get better as the weekend progresses!

Many thanks for your help and advice.
