Fireworks

Hi,

I'm going to a Fireworks display tomorrow night and I have a simple question:

Can I hand hold for Fireworks (thinking shutter of around 1/50) or do I need a tripod?

hi matt,i'd say you deffo need a tripod for fireworks.settings wise,set the camera to manual focus and focus to infinity..shoot in manual mode and set your aperture to F/11 and use the buld setting.i took some shots of fireworks last night and they varied between a few sec to 20 secs....
