Right, it's about time I get posting some piccies; I've been here long enough. Before I do though, please bear in mind I shot these with a 18-200mm lens so they're far, far less dramatic than some of the other (amazing) pictures on here. I've only had my DSLR for a few months so I'm still learning the ropes - I've only had my new lens for a few days too!

I think these have come out well. I think I prefer the 2nd as the hover stands out nicely against the purple, also as a side on shot they have more depth. The exposure is good as is the sharpness and colours.

Great first pics you've posted - Look forward to seeing more from you (y)
