HI All,

I have my first shoot with a model this week, in my newly finished home studio.

I'm happy enough with the lighting and technical aspects.

BUT does anyone have any tips on the personal side of things? directing, interactions etc?

I've sometimes been described as a stand offish person and I'm hoping this will improve.

Many thanks

IME most pro models need little directing, give them a theme and an idea to what you want and they will model it.

be nice, not creepy, be confident even if your heart is pumping 20 gallons a second, be honest.

if you get a static model then that will be a fun day, you might wanna get the Monopoly out :P

enjoy it my friend, it's what it's all about.

Have an idea what you want, props are good, check out www.modelmayhem.com for some ideas

good luck

cheers Marac, hopefully it'll be ok, i'll post the results on here soon.

Any one else?

(oh i've also been studying Zak Arias One light DVD for a bit of training)
