Fisheyes (circular) and thirds?

While posting on another thread, it occured to me that I had no idea where I "should" place subjects in my fisheye shots with regard to the rule of thirds! I'm not a slavish follower of the rule by any means (or many rules, truth be known...), usually relying on my own impeccable taste to decide on subject placement. This is especially true in fisheye shots, where I usually try to keep any subject fairly central to keep the distortions vaguely symetrical. I also try to fill the frame as much as possible since the huge DoF makes bokeh virtually non existent - there are very few OOF bits to render smoothly!
 
I usually put them in the middle as its less distortion. Fish eyes always emphasise the middle of the shot
