Flash and Macro

Ive just got a canon 100 macro, a while ago i seem to remember a member strapping his flash gun to the lens and using a off shoe cable has anyone got a photo or instructions to this set up please thank you

Great lens mate !. I`ve had some great pics just using the pop up flash but you must not use the hood . Gremlin showed me this and it works . There is a thread showing loads of set-ups here somewhere . Try " Macro setups " see what comes up . hope this helps . take care . Ron

I use a similar set up to Stan the man with my 430 EXII - It works a treat and has really changed my macro work.
