Hey guys,

Just getting into flickr and uploading some photos. How do I change the order of the photos into date taken order, rather than date added order?

I've just added some photos taken with my old D40x, and they're showing before more recent photos in my photostream. I'd like my photostream to show my pictures improving so would like my older pics at the start of the stream and the newer pictures the most recent ones showing.

Is this possible? I've been looking around for ages and can't see how to do it. I'm very new to flickr so I may be doing something wrong?

Cheers
Simon

I've just had a look and if you sort your photos into sets you can then arrange them by date taken etc.. Not sure if this is only available for sets though..

This feature is not technically possible, it will only sort into order of date posted. You can however trick it by going into each photo once uploaded and amend the uploaded date to something earlier but not earlier than when you joined Flickr.

You can't actually sort your photostream, you can as already stated, sort your
sets into date taken.

Edit: cheers Paul, great idea. Didn't realise you could do that.

cheers for that, it's taken a while but it's worked!
