Yes
I need to take a nice picture of Anniesland Cross.

So clearly I need all the help I can get

I've driven past lots of times, but still not quite sure if there are any nice angles I can get.
At the moment I'm thinking some kind of long-ish exposure showing movement of pedestrians, maybe some car light trails...

Any other suggestions?

Yeah the tower block as mentioned would give a nice vantage point, maybe a long exposure time could work there? I think long expsore is the way to go, there is a garage near there I'm sure and a patch of grass next to some flats where Bearsden road meets the Great Western Road where you could get a lower perspective. Not sure if the coppers might hassle you if you have a tripod though, but I'd be more worried about the Anniesland nightlife (e.g. neds :D )

Anniesland has the lovely Kelvin Court West flats in the art deco style 500 yards up the road and the large tower block (Anniesland Court) is a listed building, Scotland's tallest I think. The best shot of Anniesland cross is probably to make it look like something other than a grubby bottlenecked intersection, which is why I'd go with a long exposure shot.

it was mooted to be made into an interchange with an underpass in the 70's...
is it still same grade junction...

I'll be along that way at the weekend...so will endevour to have a look about and see if I can see a different spot from the others...IF I DO ILL DROP YOU A LINE...
