Forgot win 7 password

is it *******? :D

seriously though best bet would probably be to guess or crack (loads of guides on google) the administrator password, probably blank if it wasnt set but may be disabled though.
 
Some methods here on Vista/win7 forums Click Here I don't know if they will work as I've never had to try. If your on XP then you'll need to google it, if I remember correct XP was fairly easy to reset.

Ive tried just leaving it blank and pressing enter but nothing happens, Ill ask her lots of qs and see if any of those answers are the password, Ive heard of a prog called spotmou is it any good

Google Hiren's disk, that will help you sort it out if the password can't be remembered.

You need to continously tap F8 from switching on the power until you get to the options screen, that's how I get to it on my Toashibe satellite. just pressing F8 once will not do it...strange I know.
 
What about trying Reset Windows 7 Password with Windows Password Unlocker trial download Click Here might be worth a last resort instead of a reinstall.

Thanks Frank just tried it do you mean carry on even when the password box is on screen

Make sure USB stick/flash drive etc is set to the highest priority in the boot order.

May be easieast to burn the ISO to a CD and use that as the boot device.
 
A bit of software called opcrack that's free to download just need to burn the image to a cd using imgburn put it in the computer press f8 or whatever to enter the boot menu and boot from cd.
 
Hi

Well Ive managed to get into it now, but theres another problem it now says, its windows Vista Not win 7 as I was told

Install Windows
then a RED X

The Computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error To install Windows Click "OK" to restart the computer and restart installation
