+1 great to have a focussed list of photography freebie books rather than the endless lists on other forums

Got a number of the freebie ones too incase they are any good... but finding the time to read them is another thing :D
 
I don't want to sound funny but a lot of these free books are very poor

A lot of these are also excellent. Better to post the freebie and let people decide for themselves.

Though there is the odd gem amongst them.

I agree, and a lot of them are worryingly inaccurate. For example an "Advanced" book saying that a small Depth of Field is not down to Aperture as many photographers think but is due to a fast shutter speed which does not allow enough light for the background to be in focus :shrug:
I'm glad that I am not a beginner trying to learn the basics.

Hmm..tough call. that or the MILF Photo eBook ;-)

I always wonder why Amazon put such cr*p in with the photography section.
