Now that I have your undevided, I have releaved the events manager from the History Channel of three tickets for the Biggin Hill air show on the 3/4 of June.

Sorry to sound a bit OTT but thses tickets are for entry only, so how you get there and home and what you have to eat and drink is down to yourself.

I think the only fair way to give out these tickets is for you guys that can defo go. To send me an e-mail with "ticket please" in the subject line I'll then pull out three names and e-mail you back for your postal address and post them to you by recorded delivery, so get an e-mail to me before the end of this coming Thursday (18:00) as this will give me time pull out three names on Friday and post them on this coming Saturday. I'll also send the three lucky ones an e-mail with the recorded delivery numbers so you can look out for them.

Just for the record this is not a joke as I work for Sky TV and I know the events manager as I have a ticket for myself.

My e-mail is daveyuk@mac.com

Good luck guys and girls (y) (y) (y)

I've been to Fairford a good few times and would love to experience Biggin Hill but I'm in Killarney that w/e.

Lovely generous offer there my good man :)
Personally I won't be entering, too far for me to go, but good luck to all that do!

Good offer - would love to go but at that distance it aint going to happen:(

Sure plenty of more local folks will take your hand off for an event like that :)

I'm thinking about going :)

But as I'm a maybe I won't apply. Been to Duxford and it was OK. Felt a bit of a fraud amonst all the dedicated types with their notebooks and flying jackets :) . All just planes to me

That sunday we start our OPTAG training for Afghanistan/Iraq - typical...

I got all excited about this until the other half pointed out that we're in Cardiff that weekend! :crying:

Sorry to bump this thread guys and girls, but if you can go on either day I really don't want to see three of you to miss out on all of the below.

I'm another too far away, if I wasn't I'd be going anyway. I used to live near there and it's a great day out. Worth going just to "feel" the sound of a Chinook, nothing quite like it :)

Have the tickets been won then? Who was the lucky guy :D
