Fresh GAS...

Did give into the urge to get another Canon tele super compact that does half frame as well as full frame. This one isn't mullered on the corner like the first so I have everything crossed it will last longer. It's a good alternative to the P17 which I have used quite a bit recently. It's also quite similar to my favourite minolta tele super with the dual lens.

Well done, do like those.

Decided I couldn't wait so sent the roll off to FilmDev this morning. Was going to do more over the weekend but weather looks a bit rubbish so may as well find out sooner rather than later if it's ok!

New canon seems to be fine. Shot a half frame roll with it and it turned out ok. Shot another full frame roll and I'm assuming it's also fine. It's really useful having one that can switch between the two.

I appear to have 21 film cameras. Oops.

Make that 22. Oh dear.

But isn't that lcd display fantastic??! Can totally see the frame counter without my reading glasses on and in the sunshine. You can manually set the iso and it's also got back light compensation you can switch on with the slidey switch.

Apart from an XPan ( unlikely to happen unless I find one in a car boot/charity shop for £50) this probably the only camera on my list that I wanted. Should get the first results this week
