Frozen lake, and a glimpse at Zugspitze

Hi everyone, this was explored on flickr today. I know that doesn't really mean much, but what really grinds my gears is the people who simply copy/paste their comment to every explored photo.

Anyway, with that said, I thought i'd share it here for some honest C&C. I've already picked the photo apart myself so will be interested to see if anybody picks up on the same things I did, or if i'm being too hard on myself.

Please feel free to browse the rest of my recent uploads to see more photos from Bavaria and Slovenia (All sorted in albums if easier). I've really had a good 2016 with regards to travelling, almost enough to jack in the 9-5 and try to make it a long term thing in 2017.

Well don't take this too harshly but as you asked for it purely as critique the 2 major things I would change if it were mine are;

Converging verticals of the trees very obvious closest to frame edge.

The strong able cast in the shade of the mountain and snow which should be whiter than it is here.

Subjectively I like the picture and it has atmosphere!
