Most people go to Patagonia to see the spectacular mountains and glaciers in Tores del Paine. We did that too, but we also spent a few days just wandering through Nothofagus forests near Punta Arenas with some mycologists. I think the fungi in the forests will stay with me longer than the beautiful mountains, though they are spectacular.

Wonderful Video Steve, could I ask what tripod your using there?
Also was it yourself who I remember posting an amazing Sony pixel shift photograph of some fungi not so long ago?

It's a Gitzo tripod, and yes the pixel shift was me.
