    — relax and self-assured.
  • Dramatic and very well ratio'ed light,
  • Plausible layout — with just enough if everything and
    not too much of anything
If I dare, I would suggest…
  • to raise the whites in the pot but just a tad.
  • to have given three of four more puffs so the smoke a place
    to come from.

I was there many times… played for days and the total gain
of this activity was 17$ in some 20 hours at the tables! :cautious::sleep:

This is where I like this rendition as it does not add any cheap ef-
fect or preset to impress the gallery but it serves the graphic ap-
proach making it edgy, bity… almost dangerous in the sense of
the game and the theatrical role of the player… and that grunge! :)

I find the processing intrusive rather than complementary; I notice it before the subject matter*
And actually, the styling, lighting, composition and so on are really rather good.

* I'm guilty of doing this too
 
Oh that's very good, the processing is very good, love the smoke and detail in the hair. Did you slightly over lighten the rear stack of chips? the edge of dark looks unreal.

I absolutely love this, it's just right up my street portrait wise. I love the processing too, it's just full of drama and grittiness and very atmospheric!! Yeah safe to say I like this one!! :)
