Open the phone pad:
Type: ##002# -> Hit call button -> Then hit Dismiss

Try the call again, you won't see the message box. :D

Michael.

It was not working on mine too at the first shot. Give another shot Mike. This time when you get the screen with thr "Dismiss" at the bottom scroll the screen and wait for a couple of minutes and then hit Dismiss. Make another call ans check if you still get the annoying message.

Mine is unlocked to any n/w and I am on t-mobile.

If the above does not work :shake: then Google is your best pal.

Thats only an issue for phones that are jail broken if I remember correctly? If you have a standard iphone from the network provider you don't get this problem.
The reason I say this is because when I had mine on Vodafone it used to do this but now I have an actual Vodafone 3GS I dont get the message anymore.

I've never seen it on O2...

Mine was officially unlocked to work on all networks by O2 and still I was getting it until I keyed in those numbers in the above post and now I am happy as a larry :)

Are you using the latest version of software then? Wonder if the latest updates have solved this then.....
I have been using a network issue phone for some months now and not once has it shown on my phone but it happened everytime I wanted to make a call when I was using a jailbroken phone.

I am on the 3.1.3 [7E18] and I think that's the latest one. I am also on T-mobile and not one of the 3 official iPhone daddies :D

ah maybe thats it then, if you are on an iphone supported network you wont get the message anymore.
That would fit because when I was on Vodafone they didnt have the iPhone and I got it all the time. Now Vodafone have it and I am using it correctly the message has gone.

anyone know how to find what version of whatever has been done to my iphone to make it work on the 3 network?
