Giant's Causeway

Hi all,

I'm off to N'Ireland this weekend & am hopefully going to get a spin up to the Giant's Causeway.

I'm sure a few members have visited it before, can anyone offer any tips as to where to go for the best views/shots etc.

Mick

we are negotiating a trip there and based on tide times...apparently its at its best at low tide
you can check them here..ballycastle is the nearest tidal station

tide times at ballycastle

the north west 200 is on this weekend over 100,000 people go to this road race then go to balintoy harbour and the rope bridge @ ballycastle
enjoy

Some places to go along Antrim coast are: Giants Causeway, Whitepark Bay, Whiterocks Beach, Dunluce Castle, Ballintoy Harbour (you can walk over to Whitepark Bay too), Elephant Rock at Ballintoy and Ballycastle.

Bear in mind all these locations are perfect for sunsets. Be sure to pop into Bushmills for a wee trip around the distillery.

Oh and as for the NW200, it's on Saturday 19th so if you're around on the Saturday, just stay away from Portstewart and Portrush, all the locations I mentioned above will be fine on NW200 Saturday.

Have fun.
