Right, wonder if anyone can help me here..
GIMP crashes on startup, when it scans for fonts - the GIMP site says there's a fix for this, by starting it up with no font, by using a command line - with works, but with no font.
Now, i'm not bothered about the font - don't intend to insert text boxes - I want to do this, but not to clued up on this command whatyoumacallit.

Could anyone point in the right direction on how to do this?
