Gothenburg

Bit of a random one, off to Gothenburg for the day at the weekend, any 'must see' photo things/opportunities? I was thinking the docks at night might be nice, there is a London Eye type wheel too. Just thought I'd post to see what you guys thought.

I plan to just take my 17-70mm, 430EX flash and the polarizer plus a load of memory cards and a spare battery. Doubt I'll use the 50mm prime, or my 70-300mm (its cheapo one). Shame I don't have a 10-20 - I guess those are good for city stuff. Will take the Gorilla pod as not a fan of lugging a tri-pod round.

I'd assume the polarizer is best used for just the odd Sky/building shot? Sorry for my ignorance, only just purchased it.

Yeah the docks are pretty much it, the trams may be of interest if your in to transport and there are a few bits of water around the place.

Well I had a nice trip, was a real shame it rained all afternoon though! Grey skies = doesn't make for good photos, so just had to be creative and get some arty ones.

I've tried to shapen them with a unsharpe mask but ended up making them worse, i.e more noisey!

Nice city though, would be a great place to go shoot in the summer, and cheap flights =
