I waited 3 months for payment from a large national magazine then remembered i hadnt sent the invoice to them- 2 weeks later and the payment was through.

Yeah mate, the mag usually pays at the end of that month so was all my own fault. I even looked back an old email and saw the invoice attached but it was for the previous month.
