..What a bloody lovely place to do business.

Professional, courteous, enthusiastic and keenly priced.

Have heard of them over the years as being very good, and was after a 70-200 2.8.

They had 8 in stock, used, so it was worth the drive into town.

Paid slightly over TP forum prices, but have a 3 year warranty on the Lens AND 6 months 0% as well as an ongoing discount on new stuff.

Will deffo be using them again.

That is all......

Don't know about the 0% as I'm not interested enough to do that much research for others, but....

We offer a 14 day money-back approval on all second-hand equipment purchased from Grays of Westminster. This means that if the item fails to live up to your expectations for any reason whatsoever, you may return it within 14 days of purchase for a full refund (this does not include postage charges). If, however, you are happy with your purchase it will be covered by a full one-year warranty. Or, if you are a standard subscriber to Nikon Owner magazine the warranty period is extended to 18 months or 24 months if your are a Gold subscriber. For full details go to: www.nikonownermagazine.com

Still very good though.

I phoned them up years ago, complete new to digital. Was on phone for ages. Had some lovely advice and patient with me. Boughtmy 18-200 lens new from them and d80 second hand. had real good use out of them and cheap as jessops etc at time.

Yep !
The warranty came because I became a subscriber - as a customer buying today they discounted the subscription to £39 - which gives a mag and other regular offers as well as a 3 year warranty.

6 months 0% on anything over a grand.....

Ah, the Subscription being the key, thanks. :)

Looked in their window once but IIRC it seemed to be the supremo specialist shop for Nikon or have I got this wrong?

Devoted Nikon specialist for sure, but think old school service over pushy targeted sales types.....

Bought something from them when I used a film camera many many years ago, good to see they are still in business and maintained their sales technique, lovely people.

I am a big fan of Grays - not their trade-in prices, but it is a lovely place to do business. Most of my Nikon kit was bought there. With the subscription you do get a fabulous quarterly magazine and savings on courses and events..

I sold all my old 35mm Nikon gear to Grays earlier this year. They made me a great offer then upped it by 10% when I got interested in a part exchange. Great old fashioned service, nice guys, endless knowledge on Nikon. Recommended.
