Seem to be getting every ounce out of the R7 sensor with that lens.

Sadly I’ve not seen a greenfinch in 6 months on my feeders, they use to visit all the time

Greenfinches have really suffered since about 2006. You may know this but Trichomonosis is the main culprit. It hits finches hard, particularly Greenfinches. I have at least 3 still coming it, it was 5 last summer. The 3 or so that come here seem fit and healthy, for now at least, so fingers crossed for them.
